Manfrotto 055 4 Section Carbon Fibre Tripod (MT055CXPRO4)
The 90° centre Column mechanism is one of the 055 4 Section Carbon Fibre Tripod’s key strengths, which allows the column to be extended vertically, or horizontally to open up a wide range of shooting possibilities. This makes the 055CXPRO4 an extremely versatile tripod from pioneering Manfrotto, which is suitable for a wide range of photography and video applications.
The horizontal Column mechanism is housed with the tripod's top casting for compactness, but can be easily and quickly extended whenever you need it. Switching between vertical and horizontal Column orientation requires no disassembly, and can even be done with a camera attached.
The 4-section legs of the 055CXPRO4 tripod make it extremely compact: together with the height saving of the new horizontal Column mechanism, 4-section legs help to reduce the closed length of this tripod - a boon for any travelling photographer.
The legs are also fast to extend and adjust, thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers that block and unblock each leg section. The special design of the QPL levers allows a more comfortable single-handed opening of all leg sections in one action. QPL's lever design also offers more powerful locking of each section, meaning the tripod is more stable and rigid than with traditional lever designs. Intuitive and ergonomic leg angle selectors allow each leg to be independently and solidly set to any of the preset angles, again allowing considerable positioning freedom.
The top casting of the 055CXPRO4 has an Easy Link connector for supporting a photo or video accessory (such as an LED light, flash, reflector, video monitor or similar gear) on an extending arm or bracket, making the tripod a practical mobile studio.

You can enjoy unparalleled precision and high performance when using the Manfrotto XPRO Ball Head, which also gives your camera exceptional stability and security, even with heavy equipment. It has an innovative triple locking system for added camera stability, which means you can look forward to shake-free shots every time and avoid drift due to the three wedges that enclose and block the sphere. Heavier gear can be easily balanced with the friction control.
The XPRO Ball Head's two levelling bubbles enable you to make adjustments with the locking knobs open, and the new polymer rings ensure smoother, more precise camera movement. No more unwanted messy grease means nothing will get in the way of that perfect shot.
This tripod ball head is highly portable and lightweight, at just 0.52kg yet supports a high 10kg load, thanks to its sturdy magnesium design and comes with the popular Manfrotto 200PL plate, which can be paired with a wide range of equipment.
Manfrotto QR Catcher system
A flat base and plate creates a universal connector, which is the foundation of the innovative Move QR system. The flat base has a 60mm diameter and mounts a standard 3/8” thread that is highly versatile, working with different support combinations (tripod, camera slider, monopods etc).
The plate comes with a standard 3/8'' and 1/4'' top attachment screw to guarantee an easy connection with a huge range of products. It also features an anti-rotation pin to work safely and securely in all shooting configurations, and a 1/4'' adapter seat. By adding the bases to the various supports, and the plate to the camera systems, users can quickly switch their gear from one set-up to the next without having to stop to screw and unscrew different plates into position.
Manfrotto’s X LOCK system increases the rigidity of the entire kit at the mounting point through its intuitive twist locking mechanism. MOVE is not a simple universal connector, but an innovative product for everyone looking to improve their performance and creative range while also improving on-set or shoot efficiency.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
