Tamron has been producing lenses since 1950 and designed the world’s first interchangeable lens system for SLR cameras in 1957, known as the T-mount. Today they are based in Saitama Japan with the European arm Tamron Europe GmbH based in Cologne and still manufacture some of the best third party lenses on the market.

Our range includes models for both DSLR and mirrorless cameras from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon and Sony, in the following mounts:

  1. Canon EF Mount (DSLR) and mirrorless EOS M system
  2. Sony E Mount
  3. Fujifilm X Mount
  4. Nikon F Mount (DSLR)

You can attach DSLR lenses onto Nikon Z and Canon EOS R mirrorless cameras using the Nikon FTZ Mark II adapter or Canon EF to EOS R adapter.

Whilst we offer several fixed focus prime lenses, Tamron is perhaps best loved for their extremely versatile and high performing mirrorless zoom lenses. These include the first 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Lens for Fujifilm X and the incredible 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD Lens for Sony E amongst many others.

Tamron lenses are popular for their combination of competitive pricing and high quality results, with incredibly sharp and high contrast images, effective image stabilisation and wide maximum apertures for subject separation. Visit Tamron USA to be inspired by truly impressive photographs captured by brand ambassadors.
