Our range caters for photographers and videographers of any level who require stable, innovative and reliable engineering to support their camera equipment.

Technologies introduced by 3 Legged Thing’s design team create a better support system, which utilise Patented Parallel Locks for increased rigidity and stability. Three legged thing tripods also deliver an increased load to weight ratio, which means lighter tripods can carry heavier equipment, with an average load to weight ratio of 17:1.

Users also benefit from a unique carbon fibre preparation with 8 layers, cured at 150°c for three hours, then rested for 7 days to create the strongest material possible. Last but not least, 3leggedthing (as they are sometimes known) design shims which work. The plastic shims inside the legs of a tripod will often slip or drop, causing all manner of headaches. 3 Legged Thing addressed this by creating the ‘chicken wing’ a ‘C’ shaped nylon shim, naturally lubricated to ensure smooth and strong leg locks.

The comprehensive range of tripods can be broken into aluminium and carbon fibre tripods, which provide a unique set of benefits for all types of photography, videography and content creation. The 3LT range is aptly divided into three; with premium Legends Range, mid Pro range and entry-level Punks models.

Ball heads are another component, which have been redesigned by this innovative company. Options include Airhed Pro, Pro Lever and Cine heads for movie making, photography and general shooting applications.
