Professional Passport Photos

We are open for passport photos at our Burgess Hill store. No appointment is necessary

The UK Home Office can be particulary strict when coming to accepting Passport Photos. So why not avoid the hassle of using a booth, and get a professional passport photo from Park Cameras?

We take professional photos for use in a UK Passport, ID Card, Bus Pass,as well as for a wide-range of foreign Passports / Visas.

It is becoming more common for applications to require digital passport photos rather than a paper copy. At Park Cameras, we can provide digital passport photos as well as a physical copy. Whether you’re renewing your passport, or applying for a new one, we can upload your photo to Her Majesty’s Passport Office. We’ll provide you with a digital code, which you can then input into your online application. When you do this, your passport photos will be automatically matched to your application.

With our printed passport photos, you’ll receive 6 identical colour photos that meet the strict specifications set by the Passport Office. All Passport / ID photos are ready for collection while you wait.

*Please note, for Visa photos you will be issued with 2 or 4 photos, depending on the Visa requirements for each country

We also cater for babies or small children. If possible, please bring a neutral coloured blanket along when getting a baby photo taken. Whilst not essential, this helps greatly.

When requesting a Passport / ID photo for a nationality other than the UK, please bring the paperwork issued by your government office so that we can ensure the photo is taken to comply with their regulations, as these vary between different regions.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Do I need to book an appointment?
A: We don’t take bookings for passport photographs. Please pop in when it’s convenient for you and we’ll take your photograph. The whole process only takes around 5-10 minutes.

Q: I recently had my passport photo taken and I initially intended to do a paper form however, I’ve decided to now apply online. Can you give me a digital code?
A: Unfortunately, due to GDPR we don’t keep records of the passport photographs we take, therefore we’re unable to provide a digital code from the original photograph we took. We would need to retake your photograph so that we can generate a digital code.

Q: Can I use the digital code for other forms of ID?
A: The digital code is specifically for British passport online renewal however, you can download your photo within a month from www.idstation.online using the code we provided.

Q: I recently had a digital passport taken and I now need some printed copies for other forms of ID. Can you print these using the code you provided?
A: Absolutely, as long as you have downloaded your photo and saved it on your device, please pop in and we can print passport copies in sets of 6.

Q: I haven’t received the email you sent me which has my digital code attached. Can you resend it?
A: The email is sent automatically when the code is created. This is sent via idstation online, not Park Cameras. We would advise that you check your junk folder. The email is just a back up from the printed copy we supply you when you’re in store which has your digital code and information as to how to download your file if required. Unfortunately, we are unable to resend the digital code.

Q: Do you take baby passport photographs?
A: Yes we do, please be aware that this can take a little bit longer. We suggest that you bring a small white blanket or a sheet that we can lay over our cushion for your baby to lay on. We would also suggest that you have printed copies as well as a digital copy. From our experience the online system can occasionally struggle to read the biometrics of babies, therefore having printed copies will allow you to apply using a form if needed.

Q: I need to apply for an online British passport and an online Irish passport. Can I use the same code?
A: Unfortunately, they both use their own coding system therefore; we would need to supply you with two different codes.
