Mirrorless cameras which support the L mount include the Leica SL, Leica TL2 and Leica CL system cameras, the Lumix S series and Sigma fp. These all capture beautiful stills but are widely lauded as superb movie cameras, with 4K and higher film capture capabilities. With a growing number of primes and zooms to choose from, filmmakers and stills photographers benefit from the advanced mount system, fast apertures and excellent optics suitable for a range of photographic styles.

With these three experienced camera manufacturers developing models for the L Mount, users will benefit from a diverse range of options to choose from. The mount itself has a large of 51.6mm diameter and mere 20mm flange distance. This allows lenses to be designed for premium optical performance, allowing more light to enter with a shorter distance to travel to the sensor. The strong, secure mount with four flange elements offers a secure connection between the lens and the body, and enhanced electronic connections allow for peak autofocus performance.

Consider lens filters and other lens accessories to complete your new purchase. Filters provide a range of specific benefits including protection from damaging the front element, cutting down UV, reflected glare or adding special effects to your film or photography.

Events at Park Cameras

Throughout the year, Park Cameras hold and attend a range of events. For photographers currently stuck indoors, as opposed to our events that are traditionally held in store or on the road, we are currently working on a range of events that can be held in the comfort and safety of your own home. In these uncertain times, there’s never been a better time to get to grips with your camera, and hopefully we can help achieve this. Find out more
