A tripod allows for the addition of several parts to improve the ways in which you can shoot. For example spirit levels, levelling bases and clamps can be added, together with telescopic arms and handles to allow for shooting at different angles or clamping flashguns to a leg section. This modular flexibility ensures as your style of photography changes, you don’t need a whole new tripod to match.
