DJI has employed a familiar magnetic quick-release design for easy mounting to your bike, car, helmet or clothing, and dual full colour touchscreens on the front and rear. Additionally, the camera is super-robust with deep-freeze resistance, waterproofing down to 18m without any additional accessories, and 2.5 hour battery life.

For even more professional content you can enhance Osmo Action 4’s audio with an external microphone such as the DJI Mic, via a universal 3.5mm Type-C cable and there are tons of compatible action camera accessories to enhance your creativity.

You can use voice commands, both touchscreens, or the DJI Osmo Action 4 Camera can be controlled via smartphone with the DJI Mimo app, which allows you to adjust settings, shooting modes and more. If you’re recording something slightly less extreme, HorizonBalancing offers horizontal tilt correction up to ±45º, so the horizon always looks right and the action always takes priority.

RockSteady 3.0

Osmo Action 4 Vs Osmo Action 3 What’s different?

Although DJI’s two generation of cameras are similar, there are subtle differences, with DJI Osmo Action 4 offering:

1. A larger sensor for better low light performance
2. You can dive 2m deeper with Osmo Action 4
3. Audio fidelity has been improved from Osmo Action 4’s three mics
4. You can add microSD cards up to 512 GB Vs 256 GB

20. Electronic stabilisation (EIS) is not supported in Timelapse and Slow Motion modes. HorizonSteady supports only 1080p/2.7K video (≤60fps) in 16:9 ratio, and HorizonBalancing supports only 1080p/2.7K/4K video (≤60fps) in 16:9 ratio.
