The next generation Action 4 Camera features a series of upgrades over the previous model, along with additional accessories, which are included in this DJI Osmo Action 4 Camera Adventure Combo. A new larger 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor captures 10MP photos and up to 4K/120fps ultra-smooth video even in dim light, with RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonStead stabilisation technology for pro-looking stable videos.

DJI has used a familiar magnetic quick-release design for the latest action camera, with easy mounting to your bike, car, helmet or clothing. Dual full colour touchscreens on the front and rear allow you to quickly swipe between them for control, and the camera offers deep-freeze resistance, is waterproof down to 18m without additional accessories, and boasts a 2.5 hour battery life.

You can enhance Osmo Action 4’s audio with an external microphone such as the DJI Mic, via a universal 3.5mm Type-C cable, and there are tons of compatible action camera accessories to enhance your creativity and make even more professional content.

Voice commands, dual touchscreens, and the DJI Mimo app all provide intuitive and versatile control of the camera, enabling you to adjust settings, shooting modes, review images and more. Video footage and photos can be stored on a cost-effective microSD card with a larger capacity than the earlier camera, and DJI offers an easy-to-use LightCut app with artificial one-tap video AI editing. Included accessories – Multifunctional Battery Case

The included DJI Osmo Action Camera Multifunctional Battery Case holds three batteries and two microSD cards. It intelligently fast-charges three batteries and can be used together with those batteries as a power bank to charge other devices like a smartphone.

DJI Osmo Action Camera 1.5m Extension Rod

For selfie-style action from further away use the included DJI Osmo Action Camera 1.5m Extension Rod Kit, which extends between 0.3 - 1.5m for even more dynamic shots. When editing using DJI’s Ai powered editor the stick can be automatically removed from footage for amazing results.

Larger 1/1.3″ Image Sensor

When you record with DJI’s Action 4 camera you harness the power of additional pixels, compared to the previous generation camera. A wide f/2.8 aperture lens and 2.4μm-equivalent pixel size deliver shots, which are loaded with details from sunrise to sunset and even into the night.

10-bit D-Log M Colour

The camera includes 10-bit D-Log M [3] colour mode, which gives you over one billion colours and a wider dynamic range to push and pull highlights and shadows during post production. Keep it level with 360º HorizonSteady

360º HorizonSteady goes well past simple action camera stabilisation, by correcting horizontal tilts at any angle, no matter how many flips, twists, or turns go down when boarding, doing acrobatics or thundering down MTB trails. If you’re recording something slightly less extreme, HorizonBalancing offers horizontal tilt correction up to ±45º, so the horizon always looks right and the action always takes priority.

RockSteady 3.0

Osmo Action 4 Vs Osmo Action 3 What’s different?

Although DJI’s two generation of cameras are similar, there are subtle differences, with DJI Osmo Action 4 offering:

1. A larger sensor for better low light performance
2. You can dive 2m deeper with Osmo Action 4
3. Audio fidelity has been improved from Osmo Action 4’s three mics
4. You can add microSD cards up to 512 GB Vs 256 GB

19. The maximum operating time was tested when recording video at 1080p/30fps (Power Reserve mode) with electronic image stabilisation disabled and under laboratory conditions.

20. Electronic stabilisation (EIS) is not supported in Timelapse and Slow Motion modes. HorizonSteady supports only 1080p/2.7K video (≤60fps) in 16:9 ratio, and HorizonBalancing supports only 1080p/2.7K/4K video (≤60fps) in 16:9 ratio.
