Calibrite ColorChecker Classic

ColorChecker Classic targets have been used by Color perfectionists for the past decade to create custom DNG profiles for Adobe Lightroom® and Photoshop® workflows. Now you can also build custom ICC camera profiles for use in Capture One® (or other ICC compatible software) when you combine ColorChecker Classic with Calibrite ColorChecker Camera Calibration software. You’ll get accurate color at capture based on specific lighting, camera and lens combination during any given shoot, saving valuable time in edit.

ColorChecker Classic is available in five sizes, from the smallest Nano to the largest MEGA so you will have the right size target for every type of shooting situation.

ColorChecker Classic Nano:
For those extremely small or close up projects, the Nano Version of the ColorChecker Classic with its 24mm x 40 mm size provides a precision color reference for the tightest or most close up shots.

ColorChecker Classic Mini:
For when you need a color reference target that takes up as little room as possible in the image area, the ColorChecker Classic Mini target is 1/8 of the size of the Classic standard.

ColorChecker Classic Standard:
This is the standard size of the ColorChecker Classic that has been an essential tool for demanding imagemakers for more than 40 years.

ColorChecker Classic XL:
This is a larger version of the ColorChecker classic for those shots taken at a greater distance like at an outdoor event, on a larger set or for drone photography.

ColorChecker Classic MEGA:
The MEGA version is for those applications that require the target to be a very long distance from the camera and still be able to be imaged with enough resolution to be useable for making corrections.

The ColorChecker Classic can be used for a variety of applications, including:

  • Digital Photography: Create custom camera profiles (DNG and ICC), correct neutral balance and exposure, and provide a standard for color corrections
  • Film Photography: Visual reference for exposure, contrast and color
  • Filmmaking: Set exposure and color in camera; match multiple cameras, color grade log and raw footage, and fine-tune color balance in post
  • Graphic Arts: Check any printing or proofing process
  • Scanner Profiling: Create custom ICC scanner profiles with Calibrite’s i1Studio or i1Profiler software (sold separately)
  • Other industry applications
