A toploader is quite simply a small, holster-style top loading camera bag with a large flap that usually clips or buckles down to protect the zipped camera compartment underneath. They are designed to offer maximum protection and quick, easy access to your gear inside. They are available as shorter bags for a camera body with standard lens mounted, to longer alternatives which can safely house a 70-200mm mounted telephoto lens. Some models are flexible with an extending case, which caters for various lens lengths.
