Building on the huge success of the previous model is this Rotolight NEO 3 Starter Bundle, which features the all-new NEO 3 continuous LED light. The NEO 3 is the brightest on-camera light ever made, with 4541 LUX at 1m and offers an extremely compact 354g form factor. This lets you bring it on location virtually anywhere to harness significant light levels from just one unit. It combines all the benefits of a continuous LED light with High Speed Sync RGBWW flash (1/8000th), ideal for photographers, film makers and hybrid shooters working on any type of project.
For the first time on any light you can flash in any one of 16.7 million colours, or use any of the 2,500 built-in digital filters to enhance your shots. There is zero recycle time with the NEO 3, so you can burst at literally any rate your camera can muster in electronic flash mode and never miss a shot. Rotolight has also added another world first with the intuitive, full-colour touchscreen display that allows you to adjust the light, access key features and recall your favourite settings quickly and easily. This Starter Bundle includes a high-performance, rechargeable lithium NEO 3 battery for up to 100,000 full-power flashes on a single charge.

Our Verdict
Whether you’re a seasoned pro who shoots weddings, events and portraits or a newcomer videographer, this Rotolight NEO 3 Starter Bundle is an incredible set-up to use. The updated LED light provides continuous lighting for modelling as well as for video productions, being identical in all respects to the AEOS 2 except for its size. The NEO 3 is far more portable and compact but still fires in HSS with no recycle time and offers you the ability to pick from 16.7 million colours in RGBWW. This truly combines all of the benefits of HSS with a powerful continuous light ideal for modelling and video, particularly with the 2500 digital filters and award winning special effects you can choose.
Being three stops brighter than the previous model allows you to shoot outdoors in brighter conditions and to modify the light by bouncing into an umbrella or through other light modifier when indoors. Rotolight has also developed a brand new App to control the NEO 3 directly from your smartphone enabling you to pick ambient colours, adjust effects, choose the perfect RGBWW colour and many other features. What’s more you don’t have to ditch your previous NEO 2 lights as they can be controlled in relay by the NEO 3, giving you instant rim lighting if you keep them. Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
