Building on the successes of previous Ricoh compact camera generations is the super-rugged and waterproof RICOH WG-80 Digital Compact Camera in Orange. This latest model arrives with a high quality 16 Megapixel CMOS sensor, six macro lights built-in and a 5x optical zoom. These complement a host of features to capture incredible photos and videos of your adventures, whether on dry land or below water down to 14 metres dive depths for up to two hours.

With WG-80, you can now use the Ring Light with adjustable brightness. By turning on the six LED lights with adjustable brightness during macro shooting, you can create a three-dimensional effect or emphasize the contrast with the background, expanding the range of shooting expressions. The maximum brightness is now about twice brighter than the previous model.

Customize pictures to your subject or your taste with six image tone options, including the new Cross Process feature for photos with the unique coloring associated with cross-processing film development techniques*, Vibrant for rich, bright, vivid colors, and Slide Film for dynamic, high-contrast images like those produced by reversal film.
Shoot Movies in Full HD HDMI
While the camera can of course record Full HD (16:9) video at 30 fps, it also offers a High Speed Movie mode for recording slow-motion video and an Underwater Movie mode suited to underwater movie recording. Movie and Underwater Movie modes offer Movie SR (shake reduction), which can be used to reduce the effects of camera shake. Movie editing features within the camera let you split video or create movie stills from selected frames. The camera’s HDMI connector (Type D) lets you display movies on TVs and other devices.
Outdoor View Setting
The brightness of the LCD monitor can readily be adapted to changes in ambient lighting conditions for ease of viewing and an improved shooting experience. Brightness can be increased by up to two steps to make dark areas of the display easier to see in sunlight, or lowered by up to two steps to reduce glare for night photography.
Choose from 25 Shooting Modes.
The camera offers settings suited to every subject, including an Auto Picture mode that automatically identifies the subject type and chooses the appropriate mode, a Landscape mode for vivid shots of green trees or blue sky, a Surf and Snow mode suited to shots backed by brightly-lit beaches or mountain snows, and a Sports mode for shots of fast-moving subjects.
Underwater Mode.
Developed specifically for underwater photography, the WG-80’s Underwater mode reduces the blue color cast so often seen in pictures taken underwater and effectively adjusts contrast to compensate for diffuse underwater light.
Flash Off/Flash On.
In this mode, the camera takes two pictures each time the shutter button is pressed, one with the flash off and the other with it on, letting you concentrate on composition without fiddling with the controls. * Available in Underwater Mode.

Ricoh has long been the go-to choice for photographers who want a compact, rugged and capable camera for documenting their adventures. The WG-80 is set to continue this tradition with a host of upgraded features, even better stills and video performance from a 16MP sensor and updated 5x zoom lens design. Whether shooting Full HD movies at 30p using standard H.264 codecs, underwater macro with built-in lighting or digital microscope mode, the WG-80 delivers excellent results in a wide range of situations.
There are numerous shooting modes, filter effects and of course an extremely versatile 28-140mm focal width (full-frame equivalent), which ensure you can capture all of the action, above and below water. With two hours of submersible time down to 14m and special underwater shooting modes this is destined to be a favourite underwater camera for underwater photography and videos. Ricoh has also included advanced Face detection algorithms for up to 32 faces, with automatic shutter release when a smile is detected, and closed-eye warning. Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
