Fujifilm X-T4 And 18-55mm Lens Kit in Black Summary
This kit combines the latest flagship XT-4 black camera body with the tried and tested highly versatile 18-55mm zoom lens for an equivalent focal range of 27-84mm. Photographers and videographers benefit from new advanced 5-axis in-camera stabilisation, which provides up to 6.5 EV stops of advantage. The lens also features optical stabilisation ensuring this combination will capture smooth video footage and detailed, sharp images. The powerful X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 deliver 26.1MP at unprecedented speeds thanks to algorithm updates. The XT-4 is currently the world’s fastest APS-C mirrorless camera (Feb. 2020), firing 15fps in burst mode. The new shutter unit has also been redesigned to deliver a professional rate of 300,000 images, whilst remaining compact and lightweight.
autofocus is the quickest of any X series camera models and utilises Fujifilm’s renowned phase detection for both Face / Eye AF, acquiring subjects in a mere 0.02 seconds. Battery life has also been increased with the introduction of the new NP-W235 model, good for between 500-600 frames per charge depending on shooting mode. Videographers who love hybrid shooting will see a new siangle switch to change from stills to movies, together with a dedicated video menu for easier adjustiment of settings. Fujifilm’s extensive range of colour settings has also been updated with a new Film Simulation mode, ETERNA Bleach Bypass, bringing the total number of simulation presets to 18 on this model. Movies can be recorded at up to 4K 60p or ultra slow motion with 240p in Full HD, providing a diverse range of recording options. The new higher resolution vari-angle LCD screen is the first on any XT camera body.

The upgraded XT-4 provides a host of advanced features for photographers requiring a fast and accurate mirrorless camera body. Improved AF functions together with 5-axis IBIS ensure images are captured quickly and accurately every time. The lens is designed with 14 elements in 10 groups presenting high quality results which compliment the 26.1MP back illuminated sensor. Together, this kit only weighs around 900g. yet delivers consistently professional results for a whole host of subjects.
Data transfer is quicker than ever with the inclusion of a USB-C cable (which can also charge the camera), and sharing is easy through low both energy Bluetooth or included Wifi.

Our Verdict
Photographers wishing to upgrade or side-grade from a previous Fujifilm mirrorless camera might be well advised to put serious consideration towards the X-T4 and XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens kit. The zoom lens affords well known versatility from wide to short telephoto and has proven to make an ideal choice for any number of styles, including landscape, travel, documentary and weddings. The XT-4 features a number of upgrades over the previous XT-3 model, including quieter operation and faster 15fps burst shooting. Fujifilm's legendary autofocus system is now more accurate and faster than ever, acquiring subjects in just 0.02 seconds, whilst proving accomplished at tracking eyes or faces with ease.
A new switch allows the camera to be effortlessly adjusted between movie and stills capture, and video has been given it's own menu for a quicker hybrid workflow. Video recording is professional quality at 4K 60p and also provides memorable slow motion clips which can be shot in Full HD at up to 240p. The new vari-angle high resolution LCD screen, dual high speed SD card slots, new Film Simulation mode and extended battery life further ensure this kit will find it's way into the hands of many professional and enthusiast photographers.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
