The silver version of the flagship Fujifilm X-T4 mirrorless camera body represents the pinnacle of Fuji’s capabilities and is packed with upgrades and updates over the previous XT-3. A completely new 5-axis in-body stabilisation system provides up to 6.5 EV stops of compensation, working seamlessly with both stills and video. The shutter mechanism has also been redesigned and now bursts at up to 15fps, making the X-T4 the fastest APS-C mirrorless on the market (as of February 2020). Hybrid videographers will benefit from improved workflows thanks to a completely separate dedicated video menu system along with a siangle switch to change from stills capture to video recording. Movies can be captured in professional 4K quality at 60p as well as in Full HD at 240p for slow motion playback and the new higher resolution vari-angle LCD screen aids with awkward angles.
The back-illuminated 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor captures rch, detailed images, processed by the accomplished X-Processor 4. Camera speeds have been enhanced with under 0.4 second start-up time and 0.02 second autofocus speed. Previously acclaimed phase detect Face and Eye AF is enhanced by a dramatically improved algorithm, ensuring portraits can be captured with even more ease. Users including professionals and advanced enthusiasts will find a host of other improvements including the new NP-W235 Li-ion battery capable of up to 600 shots on a charge, new RAW settings and a new ETERNA Bleach Bypass Film Simulation mode. Despite these enhancements the body remains compact and weighs only 607g. with battery and two SD cards.
Fujifilm X-T4 Mirrorless Camera Body Silver in detail
With the fastest autofocus performance of any X-series camera and brand new in-body stabilisation system, the silver XT-4 body is both familiar yet updated to seasoned Fuji photographers. Additions to the exterior include a new switch to change between video and stills, and interior updates include the brand new IBIS system and new shutter mechanism rated to 300,000 shots. The X-Processor 4 has been updated allowing the camera to acquire subjects more quickly with Face / Eye AF as well as to provide quicker shooting and faster burst rates.
An F-Log View Assist function has been added to correct low contrast or low saturation video while recording in F-Log. Video is converted equivalent to BT.709 for display to make it easier to attain the correct exposure while recording movies. The camera also supports external microphones as well as LINE level input from external audio equipment for professional audio capture.
Highlight and shadow tones from -2 to +4 can now be adjusted by 1/2 stops, instead of 1 stop, allowing for finer tonality. White Balance now has 'White Priority' and 'Ambience Priority' options in addition to 'AUTO.' The 'White Priority' mode reproduces a stronger white, while the 'Ambience Priority' produces a warmer tone, enabling better results straight out of camera in auto settings. A new compressed RAW setting has also been added to the menu for smaller RAW files. The comprehensive array of compatible X Mount lenses ensures photographers can shoot with their ideal focal length.

Our Verdict
The Fujifilm X-T4 represents the pinnacle of what Fuji are capable of producing in a compact X series body. With a familiar slightly larger casing but plenty of new mechanics within, enthusiast and pro X photographers can now enjoy world class shooting speeds together with an all new innovative 5-axis stabilisation system. A new shutter unit ensures 300,000 shot durability as well as faster shooting speeds which are second to none at 15fps. A simple switch changes the camera settings between stills and video, together with a quick access Q menu and a dedicated video menu. Combined these ensure hybrid photographers and videographers will benefit from improved workflows.
Both the OLED EVF and new vari-angle LCD monitor provide bright, clear images at 100% coverage, with the LCD delivering touchscreen capabilities for quick access to features. Camera operation is now both faster and quieter, with a wake up time of under 0.4 seconds. Fujifilm's highly accomplished autofocus is even more accurate and quicker than ever, acquiring subjects in just 0.02 seconds, whilst proving adept at tracking eyes and faces with phase detect. Video can be captured in 4K at 60p as well as in Full HD at 240p for 10x slow motion playback. The addition of a new Film Simulation brings the total to 18 simulation modes, which are often heralded as the most pleasing in the market. New and existing Fuji X users will be drawn to this comprehensive upgrade which provides leading features within a stylish silver body.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
