Westcott Scrim Jim Cine Clamp with 5/8" Stud
Westcott Scrim Jim Cine Clamp with 5/8"" Stud
The Westcott Scrim Jim Cine Clamp is designed to securely mount your Scrim Jim or Scrim Jim Cine frame to a grip head and stand, giving you precise control over positioning. Whether youre diffusing light, bouncing sunlight, or creating negative fill, this clamp provides a stable and reliable connection for both studio and on-location setups.
Key Features
- Designed specifically for Scrim Jim and Scrim Jim Cine frames.
- 5/8"" (baby pin) stud for use with grip heads and standard grip equipment.
- 6"" post with hexagonal section prevents unwanted rotation.
- Durable all-metal construction for long-term reliability.
- Tension knob allows precise adjustment for a secure grip.
- Rubber grip pads prevent slipping and protect frame tubing.
- Black protective coating reduces reflections on set.
Secure and Flexible Mounting
This clamp is purpose-built to pair with a grip head, allowing you to mount your scrim frame exactly where you need it. The 6"" post provides added stability and control, making it easier to position frames for diffusion, bounce, or flagging applications.
Built for Real-World Use
Constructed from durable metal with integrated rubber padding, the clamp grips your frame securely without damaging it. The hex-shaped section on the stud prevents rotation inside a grip head, ensuring your setup stays locked in place during use.
Compatibility
Compatible with both Scrim Jim and Scrim Jim Cine frame systems. For larger frames (6 x 6 and above), using two clamps and stands is recommended for maximum stability, particularly when working outdoors or overhead.
A simple but essential piece of kit if youre using Scrim Jim frames regularly. It gives you proper control over positioning and keeps everything solid, especially when working with larger frames or on location.
