Power and Performance
The FJ800 delivers 800Ws of power across a 9-stop range, adjustable in either 0.1 or 1.0 stop increments. This makes it easy to fine-tune your light whether you are overpowering sunlight or working at low output for subtle studio portraits. Recycle times as fast as 0.01 seconds help you keep pace with fast-moving subjects, while Freeze mode offers flash durations as short as 1/25,000s for crisp, motion-free results.
Flexible AC and DC Power
With the included FJ Pro AC/DC battery, the FJ800 provides over 250 full-power flashes on a single charge and supports AC trickle charging for longer sessions. The battery system is shared with the FJ400 II and FJ250, reducing the need for multiple power solutions. For those who need even more capacity, an optional FJ ProMax battery is available, offering up to 500 full-power flashes.
Intuitive Touchscreen Control
The full-colour OLED touchscreen is designed to be quick and easy to use, with simple tap, swipe and slide gestures. Built-in help guides appear directly on screen, which is especially useful when exploring features like Creative Mask or custom sync options. LED group colour indicators on the rear of the unit make it easy to identify lights at a glance when working with multi-light setups.

Creative Mask mode allows you to program when each strobe fires and how many frames are captured, creating up to six unique lighting variations without physically moving your lights. Alongside manual and TTL modes, the FJ800 supports High-Speed Sync, Freeze Sync, front and rear curtain sync, delay functions and group exposure compensation, giving you plenty of creative freedom.

The round flash head and extended flash tube produce an even light spread that fills modifiers smoothly. A Bowens mount and included Rapid Box Switch insert ensure compatibility with a wide range of Westcott and third-party modifiers. Despite its power, the FJ800 remains portable, weighing just 3.4 kg and featuring a robust carry handle and a durable, self-monitoring cooling system.
Wireless Integration
The FJ800 is fully integrated into Westcotts 2.4 GHz FJ wireless system, offering a range of up to 100 m with 16 groups and 31 channels. It works seamlessly with FJ wireless triggers and flashes, and can also be controlled via the Westcott StudioLink app for wireless adjustments and advanced features directly from your smartphone.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
