Optics include 15 elements in 13 groups, including three SLD and three special aspherical elements. This keeps sharpness consistent across the whole range, so moving between ultra-wide and a more natural perspective doesn’t mean losing quality at either end.

Close-up ability isn’t limited to a single focal length. Minimum focusing distance is 15.8cm at 28mm, with maximum magnification peaking at 1:2.3 at 35mm. This is near to half-macro reproduction. Even at 60mm it still provides 1:2.9, letting you fill the frame with smaller subjects while keeping more working distance.
Fast autofocus
A High-response Linear Actuator delivers fast, precise focusing with strong tracking for quick-moving subjects, including during high frame-rate capture. Operation stays quiet too, which matters just as much when recording audio alongside footage.

Changes in angle of view during focusing have been minimised, so framing stays stable when attention shifts between different parts of a scene. Pulls come out smoother and more natural during video recording.

A dust and splash-resistant structure pairs with a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element, making dirt and moisture far easier to deal with outdoors. It isn’t waterproof though, so care is still needed around significant water exposure.

- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
