The Hohem iSteady Pro4 Action Gimbal is a three-axis stabiliser for GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360 ONE R, Sony RX0 and other compatible action cameras. Built around Hohem's iSteady 5.0 stabilisation algorithm, it helps produce smoother handheld footage during cycling, hiking, skiing, motorsports and other fast-paced activities.
Bluetooth 5.1 camera control allows compatible GoPro models to be operated directly from the gimbal, while the quick release mounting system speeds up camera installation without thumb screws. IPX4 splash resistance, up to 14 hours of battery life, camera charging during use, and support for creative shooting modes including Pan Follow, Pan and Tilt Follow, All Lock, POV, Sport Mode, Motion Timelapse and 600° Inception.

iSteady 5.0 Three-Axis Stabilisation
The iSteady Pro4 combines three brushless motors with Hohem’s iSteady 5.0 stabilisation algorithm to help reduce camera shake during walking, running and fast-paced action. Multiple operating modes, including Pan Follow, Pan and Tilt Follow, All Lock, POV, Sport Mode and 600° Inception, provide a choice of camera movement for everything from everyday filming to more creative sequences.
Quick Release Mounting
The quick release clip uses a spring buckle mechanism that replaces traditional thumb screw installation, allowing compatible action cameras to be mounted or removed in seconds. This makes battery changes and camera swaps quicker when filming outdoors or moving between locations.
Bluetooth Camera Control
Compatible GoPro HERO 5 to HERO 13 cameras connect directly via Bluetooth, allowing the camera shutter to be controlled from the gimbal without relying on Wi-Fi. Compared with the previous Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth reduces power consumption while maintaining wireless camera control. Please note that GoPro HERO7 White and Silver models do not support this functionality, and Bluetooth camera control is currently limited to compatible GoPro cameras.
Built for Outdoor Adventures
The IPX4 splash-resistant construction helps protect the gimbal from water splashes during filming in light rain or snow, making it suitable for hiking, cycling, skiing and other outdoor activities. Two 1/4”-20 mounting threads on the handle also allow compatible accessories such as extension poles, microphones, fill lights or tripods to be attached when additional support or functionality is required.
Battery Life and Camera Charging
A built-in 3600mAh battery provides up to 14 hours of operating time and recharges via USB-C in approximately 3.5 hours. The Pro4 also functions as a power bank, allowing compatible action cameras to be charged while filming, helping extend recording time without carrying a separate battery pack. Automatic motor protection switches the gimbal off if excessive resistance or incorrect operation is detected, helping protect the motors during use.

Which action cameras are compatible with the Hohem iSteady Pro4?
The iSteady Pro4 is compatible with GoPro HERO 5 to HERO 13, DJI Osmo Action series cameras, Insta360 ONE R (4K and 1-Inch Editions), Sony RX0 and other action cameras with a maximum height of 51mm and body depth of 30mm (excluding the lens).
Can the gimbal control a GoPro camera wirelessly?
Yes. Compatible GoPro HERO 5 to HERO 13 cameras can be controlled via Bluetooth, allowing the shutter to be operated directly from the gimbal. GoPro HERO7 White and Silver models are not supported, and Bluetooth camera control is not currently available for other supported camera brands.
Can it charge an action camera while filming?

- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.

- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
