The premium large size outdoor backpack is dedicated to outdoor photographers and specially designed for bird, wildlife, nature and landscape photographers. The GITZO Adventury 45L Backpack (model: GCB AVT-BP-45) is the perfect backpack for wildlife, nature and landscape photographers who need to carry lots of camera equipment kit in a safe, roomy, feature-rich and outdoor-ready bag.
Thanks to new GITZO G-Cushion, the pack safely protects a pro DSLR (such as a Canon 1D X Mark II or Nikon D5) with up to 600 mm f/4 telephoto lens attached, plus a second camera with lens attached and additional lenses or small accessories.
With interchangeable dividers, this backpack can also fit a full premium mirrorless camera set-up (such as Sony Alpha 7/9 Series) plus a pro size camera drone such as the DJI Phantom Drone, remote control and accessories.
The internal camera insert can be easily removed to turn the bag into an everyday outdoor backpack. The secure back opening ensures your gear’s maximum security and helps you always keep your back clean and dry. It can also accommodate a laptop up to 15.6" laptop and a tablet (iPad Pro 9,7”).
Multi-link straps can connect a big tripod such as the Gitzo Mountaineer series carbon fibre tripod, or various photography accessories onto the front and side, by simply changing the configuration of the daisy chain on the side. By passing the webbing through the loop you can fit various sized accessories.
Shoulder straps are adjustable and the back features a comfortable ventilation system, while an expandable roll-top can hold personal accessories to give you the freedom of having all the equipment you need for outdoor adventures. The coated zippers, water repellent fabric and coated bottom enable you to use the bag in humid environments and a rain cover is supplied for very bad weather conditions.

Our Verdict
The first thing that strikes us about this bag is the amount of kit you can carry with you. It can comfortably store a pro sized camera , including a telephoto zoom (600mm), a second body, an array of smaller lenses, laptop… even a tripod and still has room for personal effects. In short, if you’re about to head off on an adventure into the great outdoors, this bag will mean you are prepared.
Coated zippers, water repellent fabric and a coated bottom mean that your kit will survive humidity, and when you do need to put your bag down to catch that spur of the moment shot, you don’t need to worry about water seeping through.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
