4K UHD Resolution with High Pixel Density
The CS2740 features a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution, which is four times the detail of Full HD across a 27-inch display. This delivers exceptional clarity when working with high-resolution photos, video, and design content. With a pixel density of 164 ppi, images, text and interface elements appear sharp and detailed, which makes it much easier to view fine textures or small fonts without excessive zooming.
USB Type-C Single Cable Connection
A single USB Type-C cable handles video signal, USB data, and 60 W power delivery, which enables simple connectivity for laptops and computers. This reduces clutter and speeds up your workflow as you can quickly just plug in and start editing.
Professional Colour Calibration Tools
EIZO’s ColorNavigator 7 software performs hardware-based calibration by accessing the monitor’s internal LUT, which achieves highly accurate and consistent colour and tone reproduction. It replaces previous ColorNavigator and NX tools, combining calibration and quality control into one user-friendly application. For print applications, the bundled Quick Color Match software streamlines screen-to-print colour matching by adjusting monitor, editing software and printer settings automatically for you.
Wide Colour Gamut and 10-Bit Display
Covering almost the entire Adobe RGB colour space, the CS2740 can accurately reproduce hues that sRGB monitors cannot display. This wide gamut also supports most ISO-coated and US web-coated CMYK standards. With 10-bit simultaneous display and a 16-bit LUT, the monitor renders smooth colour gradations and reduced banding, which is perfect for post-production and print proofing workflows.
HDR Gamma Support (Optional)
Optional support for Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) and PQ gamma curves provides a more natural rendering of HDR content. These settings enable the monitor to represent scenes closer to how the human eye sees brightness and shadow detail.
Factory Calibration and Uniformity Control
Every CS2740 undergoes factory calibration using individual RGB values from 0 to 255. The 16-bit LUT ensures optimal tone selection, producing smooth gradations straight out of the box. EIZO’s patented Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) further ensures consistent brightness and colour across the entire screen, helping avoid distractions caused by uneven display areas.
Panel Technology and Visual Comfort
The non-glare IPS panel offers 178° wide viewing angles, enabling collaboration between multiple viewers. I/P conversion from the HDMI input ensures flicker-free playback of interlaced video, and dimming control reduces screen flicker to minimise eye fatigue during long sessions.
User-Friendly Design
Electrostatic switches replace traditional buttons for a clean, modern look along the front bezel. A built-in carrying handle makes it easier to move the display as needed. The ergonomic stand supports height, swivel, tilt, and portrait rotation, with a quick-release mechanism for detaching the monitor. An optional magnetic light-shielding hood is also available for working under challenging lighting conditions.
Comprehensive Connectivity

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
