Versatile adapter for a range of optics
For Telescopes, Binoculars and Spotting Scopes
Squeeze the lever to open the clamp. Position the clamp around the eyepiece and release. Tighten the safety lock. Start composing and shooting images and videos!
For Microscopes
Choose one of the two included adapter rings that best fits your microscope’s eyepiece and secure it in place. (You may need to remove the eyepiece from the microscope to install the ring.) Then, follow the instructions above to get ready and shoot.
Versatile connector
NeXYZ works with regular phone cases, but you will need to remove ‘olio-style' cases. Place your phone on the platform, making sure the bottom is touching the rubber base then release the slider. Your phone is now secure and ready for shooting. If needed you can make tension adjustments to keep the phone firmly in place.
Align and Shoot
Open the camera app. Position the phone over the eyepiece using the X and Y axis knobs. Then, use the Z axis knob to move closer or further away from the eyepiece until you have achieved perfect framing. Finally adjust the focus using the focuser on your optics and capture your image.
Compatible with virtually any optics
NexYZ fits any eyepiece from 30mm to 60mm including telescopes with 1.25 and 2-inch eyepieces, spotting scopes, monoculars and binoculars. NexYZ will also attach to microscopes with the addition of an included microscope adapter ring. This takes the usable diameter down to 25mm which fits most standard microscope eyepieces. A strong spring and a threaded twist lock provide two-level secure grip on the optical instrument’s eyepiece so you can image with confidence.
Works with virtually any phone
NexYZ accommodates a huge range of smartphones. The phone platform is fully adjustable and can fit any device, usually with the phone’s case still on. Even larger ‘phablets’ like iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung Galaxy devices work straight away.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
