How much does it cost?

At launch the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 Lens for Nikon Z costs £849.00, which is the same price as the 28-75mm Sony E mount version, which arrived back in 2021. This is an extremely attractive price when compared to similar fast aperture standard zooms.

When did it launch?

It was released on March 28, 2024. Although it’s the first version for Z mount, this particular design is a second-generation model, which was re-released for Sony cameras in 2021. It utilises the latest focus technology, plus a new exterior design language.

Why is an f/2.8 aperture good for photography?

Is it easyto shoot with?

Yes, this new design exudes solidity with a balanced weight on both full-frame and crop bodies. The sleek glossy black exterior features an anti-abrasive surface to minimise scratches, and also includes an enhanced grip for improved handling.

How is the image quality?
