Sirui Pilot Series Tripod with CT5 Video Head Matte Green
The Sirui pilot tripod with CT04 Fluid Head allows wildlife photographers to have the benefit of using a tripod that is versatile and compact.
The tripod is easy to setup on uneven terrain and position in various angles, to achieve the correct shot. This tripod is a great travel companion with it’s ability to fold down to 43cm,whilst still being able to reach a maximum height of 148cm.It can hold a maximum load capacity weight of 3kg, with a strong aluminium frame.
Legs
The four-section legs can be independently adjusted via carbon fibre twist locks so that you can find the desired length for each one, whilst the semi-automatic flip locks offer three angles for each leg in case you find yourself on uneven ground. Simply twist the rubber feet to extend metal spikes, adding further stability when needed.
Centre Column
The centre column's triangular shape allows for an even more compact and portable profile for the tripod when folded down. The column can also be inverted to allow for low- or high-angle shooting, while still maintaining its same level of adjustability. A ballast hook provides the option for greater stability, and the column locking knob can be rotated a full 360° to ensure it is secured in place. An additional short centre column is included to further increase your access to low angle or wide leg shooting.
Base
The base features an adaptive threaded screw that can switch between 3/8 inch or ¼ inch thread with a simple press and turn, making it easier to fit heads or cameras of your choice and faster to switch between them. A built in ¼ inch and 3/8 inch accessory port accommodates a wide range of additional pieces of equipment.
Fluid Head
The fluid head features a freely adjustable handle, index marks around the base, and a bubble level for precise control and adjustment. It can rotate a full 360° with a tilting range of +90 to -60°. A separate tilt lock, plate movement lock, panorama base lock, safety lock, and handle lock ensure your equipment stays in place for improved shooting and peace of mind. The quick release plate includes ¼ inch and 3/8inch screws, a safety pin, and rubber pads for added security.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
