- Shared laptop and passport access through a single zipped opening is a genuinely useful addition that speeds up airport security checks
- Carrying a tripod and water bottle at the same time frees up valuable space inside the backpack for camera equipment and personal items

Lowepro Fastpack BP 250 AW IV Black In More Detail
Instant Access
A dedicated side-access compartment lets the camera be removed without opening the main backpack, useful for quick retrieval while standing or on the move. Lowepro’s Generation IV separates this access point from the main storage area, while a full back-panel opening provides a complete view of the interior for packing and organisation, particularly useful when reorganising equipment at the start or end of a day's shooting. Self-standing construction keeps the backpack upright when placed on the ground, making it easier to change lenses or access accessories whether travelling, commuting or shooting on location.
Interior Organisation
The dual-compartment layout balances camera equipment with clothing and everyday essentials, making the BP 250 AW IV equally suitable for photography and day-to-day use. The collapsible Hi-Rise divider converts the camera compartment into a full-capacity daypack when less photographic equipment is required. A dedicated CradleFit compartment accommodates a 16-inch MacBook Pro, while the laptop and passport sleeves share a single zipped opening to streamline airport security checks. Internal organiser pockets keep batteries, memory cards and other accessories easy to locate without mixing them with camera gear.
Built for Travel
The front and base panels use coated recycled nylon for improved resistance to rain, abrasion and everyday wear, with an included AW rain cover for additional protection in poor conditions. Dual stretch side pockets carry a tripod and water bottle at the same time, and dual grab handles make it easier to lift the backpack into overhead lockers.
The integrated stow-away waist strap adds stability when carrying heavier loads and tucks away when not required. Lockable zip pullers add security during travel, while up to 77% recycled and solution-dyed fabrics reduce the environmental impact of production.
Unlike traditional top-loading backpacks, the Fastpack gives you two ways to access your equipment: quick side access when you’re shooting and a full rear opening when it’s time to reorganise your kit.
