Leofoto AH-1 Quick Release Handle for Camera Cage
The handle can be mounted on the top or the side of your cage or rig. A handle on your rig is useful for maintaining a good balance of the camera while shooting. Making smooth camera movements is also easier and more enjoyable with a handle.
Attaching accessories
The base plate with the dovetail rail you screw to the rig with an Allen key in a ¼-inch screw hole of the camera cage. You can then easily clamp the handle to the base plate. The Quick Release system also makes it easy to remove the handle after shooting. The handgrip has a total of four built-in cold shoe mounts, three on one side and one on the other. The many ¼-inch and 3/8-inch screw holes make it possible to mount multiple accessories at the same time. This way, you can make various combinations with accessories such as a video transmitter, external monitor, LED panel, microphone, action camera or, for example, magic arm with smartphone holder. Also, a handle has a round hole for a horizontal pipe to stabbing through, so you can let the camera slide on the horizontal axis.
Adjustment options
The position of the handgrip relative to the camera you can adjust as you wish. It is possible to adjust the position on both the horizontal axis and vertical axis. You can slide the handgrip over the Dovetail mounting plate slightly to the left or right. The handle also has a 95mm slot at the bottom so you can slide the handle forwards and backwards. This gives you the freedom to move the centre of gravity from the front to the back of the camera. After finding the perfect settings, secure the handle with the silver lever and the dial with the included allen key.
High-quality materials
The handle is made of CNC-milled black anodized aircraft aluminum. This makes the handle weighs only 166 grams. The handle has a length of 118 mm and is 25mm wide. The height of the entire handle is 72mm. Leofoto products come with a 10 year guarantee.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
