Magnification ranges from 20x to 60x, allowing the user to scan wider landscapes at lower power and examine distant detail at higher magnification. The optical design uses a BAK-4 porro prism system and produces a field of view of 99 to 48 feet at 1,000 yards depending on zoom setting.

HD optical system
The optical system uses fully multi-coated lenses that reduce internal reflections and maintain light transmission across the zoom range. These coatings help maintain contrast and colour accuracy when observing wildlife, landscapes or distant subjects. Combined with the BAK-4 porro prism design, the optical path produces a clear image with consistent edge detail across the field of view.
80mm objective lens performance
The front element measures 80mm in diameter, allowing the scope to gather more light than smaller spotting scopes. This supports brighter images in low light conditions such as early morning or late afternoon observation. Exit pupil values range from approximately four millimetres at 20x magnification to around 1.3 millimetres at 60x, balancing brightness with increased image detail at higher magnification.
Variable magnification with focus control
Magnification adjusts continuously between 20x and 60x. Lower magnification provides a field of view of around 99 feet at 1,000 yards while the maximum setting reduces this to approximately 48 feet. The focus mechanism allows gradual adjustments so users can refine focus when observing birds, wildlife or distant landscape features. Close focus distance is approximately eight metres.
Tripod mounting
The body incorporates a rotating tripod collar and supports both standard ¼-20 tripod threads and an Arca-Swiss compatible foot. - Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.

- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
