You’ll be able to get hands on with the latest addition to the Fujifilm range of cameras, as well as test out the various lenses and accessories that are currently available. Mastering Available Light Portraiture with Cat Garcia

Join portrait and advertising photographer Cat Garcia for a portrait workshop geared towards understanding available light.

Often commissioned to shoot portraits for various publications, Cat is regularly faced with the challenge of constructing a portrait in an unfamiliar location and within a short amount of time.

In this workshop participants will learn about working with, and making the best of, available light.

Practical exercises will force you to consider the choices made when capturing an environmental portrait in terms of composition, depth of field, light, interaction with the subject, body language and expression, and finally how all these elements impact the final image.

Join us at our London store on Saturday 22nd April, to get hands-on with the new OLYMPUS OM-D E-M1 Mark II at this supercharged demo day. Now’s your chance to learn more about the exciting new addition with the help of OLYMPUS Expert Clare Harvey-May, who will be focusing on the ins and outs of capturing high-speed events, such as water photography.

The star of the show will be the OM-D E-M1 Mark II’s newly introduced Pro Capture mode, which ensures you’ll catch the exact moment you want without any delay. Make sure you bring a fast SD card if you want to take some images home with you!

Join portrait and fashion photographer Arteh Odjidja, at Park Cameras in London, for this interactive black and white workshop and frame your city from a unique perspective.

Participants will learn how to direct a professional model on location while using the surrounding elements to enhance the final outcome, and produce spectacular images in timeless monochrome.

Aside from getting to grips with your camera settings and working with available light, Arteh will discuss his use of black and white processing in creating a strong visual narrative. All participants should leave with the confidence to organise and undertake a similar shoot in their own time.

Participants are invited to borrow a Leica camera for the duration of the workshop.
