Broadcast Video Expo (BVE)

BVE is the UK’s leading Entertainment and Media Tech event, with a 20-year history dedicated to the broadcast, production and post-production sectors. In recent years, the show has evolved into an all-encompassing event that also covers the Connected Media, AV Systems Integration, Live Production, VR and creative sectors. It attracts more than 15,000 visitors who attend to discover and learn about the latest products, services and trends from more than 300 leading manufacturers and distributors. Join us at our Burgess Hill store on Saturday 4th March where, for the first time ever in the history of Park Cameras, we’ll have every Canon EF lens currently available in our store for you to try out for yourself, including lenses such as the super-telephoto EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM, the EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM and the popular EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM.

We’ll have technical experts from Canon on hand throughout the day to answer all your lens questions, and find out what the best lenses are for your needs.

These lenses can copy the way your eyes see something small from up close, for dazzling effects.

Hands-on experience with the FUJIFILM GFX 50S Medium Format camera

Fujifilm and Park Cameras have teamed up to be able to offer a Fujiilm GFX 50S studio day in our London store with X-Photographer Wayne Johns. This studio day has been designed to give you a real opportunity to use the FUJIFILM GFX 50S camera & lenses; complimented with expert advice from teh friendly Fujifilm team as well as a professional photographer using the system. And what’s more, you can even claim back the cost of your ticket (see below to learn more!).

Tickets include:

  • GFX 50S product demonstration and live model shoot lead by Fujifilm X-Photographer Wayne Johns
  • Use of the FUJIFILM GFX 50S camera and lenses
  • 16GB SD memory card
  • Refreshments (tea, coffee & biscuits)

Wayne is a professional fashion, beauty, advertising, and portrait photographer with over 20 years’ experience. He is best known for his crisp and emotive imagery and has gained international recognition as a ‘master of lighting techniques’. His inspiration and enthusiasm for creativity is fuelled by his passion for enjoying life, everything it has to offer and anything or anyone that surrounds him.

Wayne’s clients include the likes of Vogue, Marie Claire, GQ, Hasselblad, Leica, Bowens, Nike, L’Oreal, Fujifilm, Sekonic, NEXT, Coca-Cola, ITV, Channel 4, Rimmel, Haute Magazine.

Wayne will be using the new Medium format mirrorless camera from Fujifilm, the GFX 50S. In this studio session Wayne will be demonstrating the camera with different studio lighting set ups and a live model. This will be hands-on experience with candidates having the opportunity to shoot with the GFX 50S. Wayne will explain the technology behind the GFX 50S, as well as lighting techniques and workflow.

Places are limited, with a maximum number of six people per group, so we recommend you to book early to avoid disappointment.

The cost for this workshop is £75.00 which is refundable if you decide to purchase a GFX 50S*.

To be eligible, purchase* the FUJIFILM GFX 50S Series camera from Park Cameras and send Fujifilm UK a copy of the receipt within 30 days of your GFX 50S Studio day.

Once you have purchased a ticket your place on that GFX 50S Studio day will be reserved. If circumstances change and you need to cancel your place, please let us know 10 days before the event and we will be happy to issue you a refund in full.
