We’re delighted to announce that one of our staff members, Luke Dray, has won the junior category of the British Life Photography Awards!
This relatively recent award (the competition is in its second year) aims to showcase contemporary and imaginative images that capture the essence and spirit of British life.
His series of six images (shown below), showing how protest is fundamental to British democracy, was on show in the Mall Gallery, central London from the 7th -13th March 2016 and in the Banbury Museum in Oxfordshire from the 25 March to 9th July 2016.
Luke uses a variety of different camera s and lenses when shooting, but primarily uses a Canon EOS 5D Mark III or EOS 7D Mark II, with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM and occasionally a EF 50mm f/1.8 STM.
Luke works at Park camera s in our Burgess Hill store.

Events at Park Cameras
Throughout the year, Park Cameras hold and attend a range of events. For photographers currently stuck indoors, as opposed to our events that are traditionally held in store or on the road, we are currently working on a range of events that can be held in the comfort and safety of your own home. In these uncertain times, there’s never been a better time to get to grips with your camera, and hopefully we can help achieve this. Find out more
