Zhiyun has updated the design of their popular handheld gimbal stabiliser in order to better meet the needs of professional cinematographers and solo content creators. The next generation Zhiyun Crane 4 professional stabiliser supports full-size mirrorless, DSLR cameras and compact cinema cameras with a lightweight design and powerful features.
It has been engineered with a longer arm length, more powerful motors and extended QR plate for exceptional stability and a high payload capacity, allowing creators to capture cinematic shots more easily. The lightweight design provides superb handling without sacrificing handheld portability which many filmmakers rely on.
An intelligent balance indicator ensures you know when to rebalance the gimbal, and Zhiyun’s innovative quick release module enables effortless switching between native landscape and portrait shooting modes.
Other features have been added to the Crane gimbal series, which have become essential tools such as a built-in 10W fill light, Bluetooth shutter control with mainstream cameras and a 1.22-inch colour touchscreen for gimbal control.
For even greater balance and control an adjustable sling grip and integrated wrist rest is available as part of the Zhiyun Crane 4 Combo, which gives you more precise control over movement.

Stabilising your movies no longer needs to be cumbersome thanks Crane 4 having been crafted by Zhiyun with ergonomic precision and a lightweight design, which delivers superb handling. However, its portability doesn't mean you have to compromise on payload. The longer arm length, stronger motors and extended quick release plate the Zhiyun Crane 4 is able to securely support professional equipment including full-frame DSLR and compact cinema cameras.
What’s more, unique balance indicator lights added to each motor provide a timely reminder for precise balance calibration, in order to ensure continual load balancing and smooth operation. The stabiliser comes with a magnetic tightening wrench ensuring you have the tools you need for every shooting situation, as well as a silicone protective sleeve, reducing wear and tear of axis arms while carrying the gimbal.
Effortless switching from horizontal to vertical
To cater for modern content requirements and various platforms Crane 4 features an innovative quick-release module that integrates horizontal and vertical lock, enabling effortless switching between native landscape and portrait shooting modes.

Built-in 10W fill light
A professional quality 10W LED fill light adds to the Crane 4’s feature list, while enhancing the lightweight portable shooting experience by reducing the need for additional lighting. The light offers:

Bluetooth camera control
Crane 4's integrated Bluetooth shutter control provides additional convenience, and is compatible with mainstream cameras. With this feature, you can effortlessly start/stop recording or trigger photo capture by using the recording button. Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
