The Xencelabs Pen Display 24 is engineered to provide a premium studio drawing experience and exceptional image quality. Super-AG Etching™ technology significantly reduces glare by minimising reflected light, enhancing optical clarity. Optical bonding within the display effectively reduces parallax, which is the perceived distance between the pen nib and the cursor.
The uninterrupted display surface is equipped with an Anti-Fingerprint coating, ensuring smooth hand movement. Precisely calibrated pressure curves enhance stroke-to-stroke accuracy, and the display is highly responsive to even the lightest strokes.
The 24" UHD display boasts vibrant 10-bit colour accuracy, covering 93% of the DCI-P3 and 99% of the Adobe RGB colour spaces. Pantone® and SkinTone™ validation ensures faithful reproduction of a wide spectrum of Pantone colours and diverse skin tones.
Space saving ergonomic design
The ergonomics and adaptability of the Pen Display 24 are key aspects. Its compact design conserves desk space, while the slender bezel offers ample hand-resting area. Programmable device control buttons, seamlessly integrated without disrupting the surface, feature customisable colours per application.
The included Tilt Stand allows effortless single-handed adjustment, ranging from 16° to 72°. Additionally, Pen Display 24 offers the flexibility of industry-standard 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting for positioning in a location of your preference.
Two pens included
The Pen Display 24 package includes two pens: the Xencelabs 3 Button Pen with Eraser (v2) and the Thin Pen with Eraser (v2). Each pen can be individually configured for specific applications. Additionally, a comprehensive set of accessories is provided, comprising a case and 10 replacement nibs, including four felt nibs and a nib extraction ring.
The Thin Pen offers a slimmer profile, featuring 2 buttons and an eraser. In contrast, the 3 Button Pen provides a more extensive range of functionality, catering to a diverse array of 2D and 3D applications.
Both pens support the Touch-to-Wake display feature and operate without the need for recharging. Instead, Xencelabs pens employ Electromagnetic Resonance (EMR) technology to convey 8,192 pressure sensitivity levels to the drawing display.
Quick keys included
An integral aspect of the Pen Display 24's workflow enhancement lies in the inclusion of Quick Keys, which is a customisable controller featuring 8 buttons distributed across five sets. Each button is equipped with OLED displays, and there is a physical dial accompanied by an LED ring. Through the feature-rich driver, Quick Keys can be programmed for a total of 40 shortcuts and 4 dial controls.
Complete customisation is facilitated, encompassing button display labels and dial colour-coding per action and per application. The adaptability of Quick Keys is particularly notable, as it can be configured for use in any orientation, granting users the flexibility to position Quick Keys around the Pen Display 24 to their liking at any given moment. This versatility is made possible by the inclusion of a robust yet easily adjustable mount for Quick Keys.
Virtual tablet mode
The Virtual Tablet™ Mode offers the convenience of accessing content across extended screens, enabling swift control of material on other displays directly from the surface of the Pen Display 24. You may not have heard of Xencelabs who formed in 2019, however they have taken the market by storm with a range of graphics tablets and screens for content creators who need a natural drawing experience. The Pen Display 24 from Xencelabs is a powerful pen-on-screen tablet, which runs on most computers operating such as macOS, Windows or Linux.
The device boasts a large AG etched 4K screen and comes with several accessories, which are often sold separately from the base unit. Pen Display 24 includes two pens (version 2), a tilt stand and Quick Keys, ensuring you can begin work with everything needed on day one.
The anti-glare 10-bit 4K UHD display offers 1.07 billion colours and is both Pantone® and SkinTone Validated™, ensuring your images look more life-like and accurate, with smooth graduations and high contrast.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
