Nanlux Matrix 2500C with Flight Case In More Detail
Full-Colour Output At Production Scale
The Matrix 2500C combines high output with advanced colour control in a format intended for professional productions. Unlike traditional large-format fixtures focused primarily on white light, the Matrix 2500C allows users to create saturated colours, subtle colour effects and accurate lighting matches while maintaining the output levels needed for larger sets and studio environments.
Nebula C8 Colour Engine
At the heart of the Matrix 2500C is Nanlux’s Nebula C8 colour engine, which combines Deep Red, Red, Amber, Lime, Green, Cyan, Blue and Indigo LEDs. This system provides a wider colour gamut, improved saturation and more refined colour mixing than conventional RGB solutions. The fixture supports colour temperatures from 1,000K to 20,000K with ±200 green and magenta adjustment, offering extensive flexibility when matching practical lighting, environmental conditions or virtual production content.
Built For Virtual Production And Creative Lighting
The Matrix 2500C offers seven lighting modes including CCT, HSI, HSIW, RGBW, XY Coordinates, Gel and Effect modes. These options allow lighting teams to move beyond standard white-light operation and create complex colour environments directly from the fixture. For virtual production workflows, individual lamp heads can be controlled independently, enabling dynamic lighting responses that synchronise with changing on-screen content.
Modular Array Configuration
Like the Matrix 2500B, the 2500C has been developed around the concept of scalable lighting arrays. Dedicated mounting frames allow multiple fixtures to be combined into larger lighting systems, including four-light configurations capable of delivering substantial output across large shooting spaces. The closely spaced lamp arrangement helps create an even beam while maintaining high light density.
Engineered For Professional Production
The Matrix 2500C features a one-piece magnesium alloy housing with an IP66 weather-resistant rating. An advanced front-to-rear cooling system helps maintain stable operation during extended use, particularly when fixtures are grouped together. Four selectable fan modes allow crews to balance cooling performance and noise levels according to production requirements.
