Nanlux Matrix 2500B with Flight Case In More Detail

Built Around Large-Scale Lighting Arrays

The Matrix 2500B has multi-fixture deployment as a core part of its design. Multiple units can be mounted together using dedicated frames, allowing productions to build powerful lighting arrays while maintaining even beam characteristics across the combined fixture. This approach supports dense, consistent illumination for large sets and virtual production stages.

Nebula B4 Light Engine

The Matrix 2500B uses Nanlux's Nebula B4 light engine, combining four types of white LEDs for accurate colour reproduction and efficient output. It covers 2,700K to 6,500K with ±80 green and magenta adjustment, allowing crews to match existing lighting conditions while retaining the efficiency of a dedicated white-light system. Average CRI and TLCI ratings of 98 support accurate colour reproduction across professional capture workflows.

High Output In A Compact Footprint

The Matrix 2500B measures 40 × 40 × 23.5cm. Paired with the FL-MT25 Motorised Fresnel Lens, it achieves up to 103,000 lux at 3m at 5600K. That combination of output and compact dimensions allows deployment where larger traditional fixtures would be harder to rig or transport.

For Outdoor Productions

A one-piece magnesium alloy housing with IP66 rating protects against dust and weather while keeping weight manageable for location work. The weather-resistant construction reduces concerns about changing conditions during extended outdoor shooting days.

Advanced Cooling And Control

A front-to-rear airflow system maintains performance during continuous operation, particularly when units are grouped into arrays. Four fan modes let crews balance cooling against noise requirements. Control options include onboard controls, NANLINK App 2.0, DMX/RDM, CRMX, Art-Net and sACN, with NFC support for rapid setup across multiple fixtures.
