The Leica APO-Televid 82 Kit includes Leica’s flagship angled spotting scope along with the premium 25-50x WW ASPH. Vario eyepiece. This creates a complete observation solution for demanding fieldwork and users who need the highest optical performance. The spotting scope features Leica’s flagship apochromatic 82mm objective and High Lux Pro (HLP™) lens system to render exceptional brightness, contrast and colour fidelity, even in low light.
This model is ideal for conservationists, birders and nature enthusiasts who require outstanding image quality and precise long-range performance. The dual-focus system offers fast and fine adjustments, while the robust magnesium chassis is rubber-armoured and weather-sealed for use in the field during any season.
The included 25-50x wide-angle eyepiece provides sharp, edge-to-edge clarity with a broad field of view, making it easier to track moving subjects and observe wildlife in rich detail over a wide field of view.
Leica’s modular system supports digiscoping with ease, by adding dedicated adapters for Leica Q, SL and M cameras, or smartphones using the Ollin magnetic Snapcase. It all integrates with the Leica FOTOS app for reviewing and sharing observations from the field.

A Complete Observation Kit
This APO-Televid 82 Kit combines Leica’s flagship 82mm spotting scope with the premium wide-angle 25-50x WW ASPH. Vario eyepiece. The optical system combines fluoride glass and apochromatic correction to minimise colour fringing and deliver superb detail, which is especially useful for identifying small features in birds or distant wildlife. Leica’s High Lux Pro (HLP™) lens coatings enhance image brightness and contrast, even in low light or overcast conditions.
Field-Ready Optical Precision
The scope housing is made from magnesium for premium strength and light weight properties, and is also fully armoured with rubber for impact protection. It’s sealed and nitrogen-purged for comprehensive weather resistance, with waterproofing up to 5 metres. The dual-focus system provides both coarse and ultra-fine adjustment, allowing you to focus quickly and precisely. The 45º angled design improves comfort over long periods.
Vario Eyepiece and Digiscoping-Ready
The included 25-50x WW ASPH. Vario eyepiece offers a broad field of view with excellent edge-to-edge sharpness and minimal distortion, which is perfect for scanning landscapes or observing wildlife. The scope integrates seamlessly with Leica’s digiscoping system, including adapters for Q, SL and M cameras, and smartphones via Ollin’s Snapcase system. Images and video you capture can be reviewed and shared using the Leica FOTOS app for a complete mobile digiscoping workflow.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
