Join us for this 60-minute talk at our store in Burgess Hill, West Sussex on Saturday 20th August 2022, as professional wildlife photographer Oliver Wright shares his tips and tricks that you can put into your own photography when looking to capture wildlife.

Oliver is a professional wildlife photographer, and in recent years has spent much more time in his local area. During this time, he has discovered how much wildlife is around, within just a few miles of his house or sometimes even as close as his back garden!

During this talk, Oliver will take you through the variety of photographic opportunities that he’s been able to capture on camera, sharing tips and tricks on how to find the wildlife, and how to make the best of the photographic opportunities.

Oliver himself has learn that, with the photographic opportunities being more local to him, he has spent more time watching, enjoying and photographing nature. It has also allowed him more time thinking of different photo projects that he’d like to create, and how he has brought them to life, including his ‘wrens breath’ project.

Shooting locally can also help develop your skills, and Oliver will discuss how shooting in your local area can get you prepared for wildlife opportunities that are a bit further afield.

Oliver encourages participation within his talks, so if you’ve any questions about nature photography, there will be plenty of opportunity to have any questions you might have, answered.

Plus, head to the Canon area of the store after the session where you can try out the range of cameras and lenses for yourself.

This event is part of ‘Canon Wildlife Week’. Learn more about the range of Canon products at
