Manfrotto Monopods

Manfrotto has designed a number of camera monopods for photography and video, which offer the same innovation and high quality which their tripod range is famed for. Focus is on stability, versatility and functional design suited to either smooth video recording or stills photography particularly when shooting with a telephoto lens or for extended periods of time. Featuring lightweight portability, these monopods are available in either aluminium or carbon fibre, with or without a tripod head.

The range spans numerous models which are ideal for travel, being extremely compact with up to five folding sections, allowing them to be stowed conveniently in a camera bag or backpack. Users include sports, wildlife and bird photographers as well as videographers who rely on lightweight equipment to bring when making movies.

Choose between small, light options or larger more sturdy monopods depending on the equipment load to be supported. Models with a retractable base are ideal as self-standing supports, which allow the photographer to move around without continually holding the system. Bases can be purchased separately or as part of a complete kit. A quick release plate is well worth considering as a great option for rapid mounting and releasing of the camera.

Overall monopods offer a time critical advantage over tripods, where they can be quickly moved and repositioned to change composition during a high speed event. We are very used to seeing photographers at sports events utilising monopods, thanks to weight and speed advantages. Whichever camera system and lens combinations is being used, take advantage of our product range or browse used tripods for a preloved option.

Events at Park Cameras

Throughout the year, Park Cameras hold and attend a range of events. For photographers currently stuck indoors, as opposed to our events that are traditionally held in store or on the road, we are currently working on a range of events that can be held in the comfort and safety of your own home. In these uncertain times, there’s never been a better time to get to grips with your camera, and hopefully we can help achieve this. Find out more
