The RØDE Caster Pro is designed to simplify podcast production whilst delivering superb audio quality. It supports up to four presenters, as well as offering easy connection to phone, USB and Bluetooth sources. Eight programmable pads offer instant playback of sound effects and jingles. Podcasts can be recorded directly to microSD card, or to a computer via USB. Ease of use is assured, with intuitive controls and large full-colour touchscreen.
In Detail
The RØDECaster Pro features eight programmable sound effects pads for instant triggering of sound effects, music, intro and outros, or ads rolls. Record direct to a pad from any of the RØDECaster Pro’s inputs or simply assign audio from a computer. Each pad is highly customisable, with options for playback mode, colour-coding, and more, and you can store up to eight banks of sounds making 64 in total.
Have a remote guest you want to chat to? Recording a podcast with your crew at a distance? Simply connect your phone to the RØDECaster Pro via Bluetooth™ or with a TRRS cable. The RØDECaster Pro even provides 'mix-minus' audio to prevent echo being heard by the caller (without the need for complicated external hardware). Remote interviews never sounded so good!
Class A Servo-biased Preamps
The RØDECaster Pro’s pristine preamps and outputs feature Class A circuitry, as you’d find in the world’s best broadcast recording consoles. The Class A servo-biased preamps provide a clean gain structure with very low levels of distortion, delivering incredibly clear, low-noise signal, while the high-quality headphone outputs ensure you hear you and your guests in full definition. Powerful Effects Processing
To give your podcast that polished, professional sound, the RØDECaster Pro gives you access to a host of effects and multistage processing options. These include a compressor, de-esser, high-pass filter, noise gate and ducking, all easily accessible via the LED touchscreen.
APHEX® On board
Take your sound to the next level with the RØDECaster Pro’s on-board APHEX processing. The legendary APHEX Aural Exciter™ and Big Bottom™ can be accessed with the touch of a button, giving your podcasts that rich, warm broadcast tone only found in professional studios (until now).
The RØDECaster Pro operates as a standalone unit straight out of the box, recording your podcasts direct to a microSD card. The RØDECaster Pro also connects to a computer as a USB audio interface so you can record your podcast to your favourite recording software or livestream with ease. Multitrack recording via USB or to microSD is also available, giving you the option to record each of the inputs separately for editing in post-production.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
