Park Cameras adds Hollyland wireless microphones

NEWS: In January 2023 Park Cameras adds Hollyland Wireless Microphones to our growing range of affordable wireless solutions for solo creators and filmmakers.

Although a handful of established brands dominate the wireless microphone market with professional systems for video content creation, a growing number of newcomers are jostling to satisfy the demand for pro-quality audio at competitive prices.

Enter Hollyland who joined Park Cameras in January 2023. Hollyland is a well-established technology company with a range of impressive wireless microphone systems primarily aimed at solo creators. This provides everything you need for great audio content, whether that’s a microphone for vlogging on Youtube, or a wireless lavalier microphone for weddings, corporate events, documentary and other film productions.

Which Hollyland Wireless Microphones are available?

We’ve added the latest wireless systems, with the Lark M1 DUO Wireless Lavalier Microphone with charging case and Solo Wireless Lavalier Mic (without charging case). The Lark M1 records detailed omnidirectional sounds from an incredibly compact body, aimed at YouTubers, vloggers and live streamers who want high-quality audio at an affordable price.

The compact system follows the recent trend, combining a charging case with a storage case, allowing you to store the tiny and highly portable wireless lav system while it’s charging. The mic can be used with your camera with TRS to TRS, TRS to TRRS and for smartphone creators, with optional cables. You’ll need an Apple-certified Lightning to 3.5mm TRRS cable for iPhones and a Type-C to 3.5mm TRRS cable for Android devices.

The case takes around 1.5 hours to fully charge the transmitter and receivers, after which you’ll get around 8 hours of recording times.

Wireless range is an impressive 200m (lab test results) over open spaces, which is excellent news for the majority of users recording a piece to camera in the great outdoors. The LARK M1 Duo comes with 2TX, 1RX and a Charging Case, where the SOLO version includes 1TX and 1RX. The combined weight of the case, 2x transmitters and 1x receiver is around 120g, which is definitely lightweight enough to accompany you everywhere you go.

How much is the Hollyland LARK M1 Wireless Microphone system?

The Hollyland LARK M1 DUO Wireless Lavalier Microphone price is £150, whereas the LARK M1 SOLO costs £90. This is extremely competitive against comparable wireless systems, and audio quality is especially good, with one-click noise cancellation, volume presets and up to 16-bit 48kHz sampling rates.
