MFT Lens offers an equivalent focal range of 24-70mm (in full-frame format), which is ideal for all sorts of subjects, from portraits and landscapes to travel and video. Panasonic Lumix G9 MFT camera
The Lumix G9 is packed with innovation designed for speed, as well as delivering beautiful results for stills and video. Panasonic added an 80 megapixel High Resolution photo mode, which is ideal for interiors and architectural photography and users benefit from 6.5 stops of in-body image stabilisation, which helps with gaining stable footage as well as sharper results when shooting handheld.
You can burst to 20 fps in continuous shooting mode with AF-C and up to 60 fps when AF-S is selected, which is perfect for sports and wildlife photography and other fast moving subjects. The OLED electronic viewfinder features No blackout and a fast 120fps refresh rate, which means better subject tracking during critical moments. The body is splash, dust and freeze proof, made from high quality magnesium alloy body to support creators who work outdoors even in poor weather conditions.

The updated wide to standard zoom lens is also packed with new features which support the high speed capabilities of the G9. It benefits from flagship X Vario capacities which include a fast, constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout the range and high quality optics which render excellent results.
The upgraded lens casing is weather sealed and includes POWER Optical Image Stabiliser for reduced shake when handholding. Our Verdict
This kit provides an effective combination with the powerful G9 camera and versatile mark II 12-35mm f/2.8 Lens from Panasonic. Both offer extensive features aimed primarily at stills photographers, although you can also capture impressive video quality at up to UHD 4K/60p thanks to thoroughbred hybrid capabilities.
The body is all about speed, with high-speed burst capabilities, fast contrast-based AF performance at 20fps in continuous AF, great subject recognition and even boasts the world’s fastest focus speed of 0.04 seconds. Panasonic also added the ability to capture 80 megapixels of static subjects in the High Resolution mode, together with a clear, sharp EVF which provides blackout free shooting, a fast refresh rate and high magnification of the scene.
Useability is excellent thanks to a rugged, weather-sealed body with easy-access controls, with a top plate LCD screen, AF joystick and highly customisable layout. Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
