The HikMicro Lynx 2.0 25mm Smart Thermal Monocular is a go-anywhere thermal spotter with high-end capabilities, which is a compact and powerful device for field work. It weighs just 275g with a battery, and this portable thermal monocular features a highly sensitive 384x288 thermal sensor with <20mK NETD and a fast F1.0 25mm lens.
These deliver excellent image quality with sharp contrast and fine detail. With 2.4x optical magnification and up to 19.2x digital zoom, the Lynx 2.0 25mm is ideal for identifying heat sources during wildlife monitoring, security patrols or ecological surveys.
Like the higher-spec Falcon series, the Lynx 2.0 features a robust magnesium-alloy body, intuitive controls and boasts a large OLED display with a comfortable eyecup for long viewing sessions. A single 18650 battery provides up to 6.5 hours of runtime, which can even be hot-swapped, in order to continue observing without interruption.
With Wi-Fi streaming, image recording and full app control via the HikMicro Sight app, the Lynx 2.0 25mm combines lightweight portability with easy connectivity which is ideal for both solo and team use in the field.

High-Sensitivity Thermal Sensor
The Lynx 2.0 25mm uses HikMicro’s 384x288 thermal sensor with <20mK NETD is able to detect subtle temperature variations, while delivering strong contrast and precise thermal imagery. Even in fog, light rain or complex backgrounds, it provides clear visuals for identifying people, animals or features in the terrain.
Easy to Carry, Ready to Go
At under 175mm in length and weighing in at just 275g including the battery, the Lynx 2.0 is ideal for handheld use on long sessions in the field. Its balanced shape and tactile buttons make it easy to operate single-handed, even while wearing gloves in colder conditions.
Fast, Reliable Imaging
The imager features a startup time of under three seconds, ensuring you never miss any action. With digital zoom up to 19.2x and a field of view which is well-suited for open countryside or woodlands, it offers strong mid-range spotting for a variety of applications.
Smart Features and App Control
The Lynx 2.0 supports four thermal colour modes, on-board recording of video and stills, and wireless connectivity via HikMicro Sight. Use your phone or tablet to stream live footage, adjust settings, or capture media remotely.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions.
