2019 is shaping up to be a big year for photography, there have already been a number of big launches as well as some smaller ones that you may have missed. We wanted to give a roundup of all the big launches that have already happened this year.
Panasonic Lumix launched their brand new, full frame mirrorless camera at the beginning of February. We reviewed it and found that it's definitely worth paying attention to. The S1 is focused more towards video but certainly makes for an excellent hybrid camera while the S1R is slightly more photography focused.
Replacing the A6300 and sitting just below the A6500, the new Sony A6400 is designed for both stills photographers and videographers. It's been designed in such a way that it will appeal in particular to bloggers and vloggers due to it's 180 degree rotating screen. The video features on this camera in particular, are very impressive.
Canon launched their brand new compact, lightweight mirrorless camera. It's part of the RF ecosystem, just like the EOS R but it comes in at a nice, small size. It's actually very impressive how much Canon have managed to to pack into such a small body and similarly to the EOS R, we found it was great for low light photography.
We will update this blog as and when new cameras and lenses are released so make sure to keep an eye out.

Events at Park Cameras
Throughout the year, Park Cameras hold and attend a range of events. For photographers currently stuck indoors, as opposed to our events that are traditionally held in store or on the road, we are currently working on a range of events that can be held in the comfort and safety of your own home. In these uncertain times, there’s never been a better time to get to grips with your camera, and hopefully we can help achieve this. Find out more
