Snap, Stroll and Explore in Burgess Hill

Join Park Cameras and Sony at the Imaging Festival in Burgess Hill for a hands-on photography experience where you can learn, shoot and explore using the latest Sony camera and lens range.

This session will be held exploring the Burgess Hill Green Circle – a habitat for wildlife, allowing species to travel through the area looking for suitable living conditions, despite the disturbance of a busy town. An expert from Sony will be leading the session, to help you gain a real understanding of how to get the most from Sony Alpha gear in a natural environment.

Whether you are just starting out with photography, or are more experienced but are looking to try out something new, this session is designed for everyone!

A professional model will also be available during the walk, allowing you to test out the Real-Time Eye AF and Face Tracking found within the current Sony line-up of cameras.

Whether you're a seasoned shooter or just starting out, this photo walk promises to be a fun and enriching experience!

This session is interactive. Therefore, if you already own Sony camera, please ensure you bring it along, with an SD card to ensure you can take your shots home with you. A selection of cameras and lenses will be available for you to test out during this walk on a first-come first-served basis. A valid photo ID will be required to loan equipment.

Please note that unfortunately the recently launched a7R VI will not be available to loan during this photo experience. However, there will be a demonstration camera available at the store to try out before or after the walk should you wish to.

As this is an event in association with Sony UK, shooting with other brands during this walk will not be permitted.

All those who register and attend this in store session will receive a £10 Park Cameras Gift Voucher to be used in store against any Sony products on the day.

The photo walk will start and end at Park Cameras in York Road, Burgess Hill, where the experts from Sony will be available to discuss further information about the kit or techniques they have demonstrated.

This walk will be at a leisurely pace and is mainly on the level ground. There will be plenty of time allowed for you to get your shots. It is also recommended to bring a coat and/or an umbrella, as the weather can be unpredictable. If conditions are wet, we may adjust the route to allow shots from sheltered locations. Please also bring a bottle of water to ensure you keep hydrated for the duration of the walk.
