Print Like a Pro: A Workshop with Jack Lodge

Join us on Wednesday 15th May 2024 at our Burgess Hill store as we’re joined by professional landscape and nature photographer Jack Lodge where he’ll share his process behind the landscape shots he captures across the UK, and how you can adorn your walls with professional looking prints in the comfort of your own home.

There’s arguably no better feeling than printing off your favourite photos on quality paper and physically holding them in your hands or putting them on your walls like works of art. Within this session, Jack and the experts from Canon UK will show how you can get your photos from your camera out to a physical print, including the different things you should consider prior to printing including the basics of colour management and how to make money from your shots.

Jack will also share a variety of his landscape shots, describing how he composes his shots, the settings he uses, and the kit he typically uses for different scenarios.

About Jack Lodge - Dorset Landscape Photographer:

Jack is a 28-year-old professional landscape and nature photographer from Dorset on the South Coast of England. He started shooting landscapes in 2017 after exploring travel and street photography at university, where he studied Architecture. Since then, landscape photography has become a huge part of his life and one thing he couldn’t imagine living without. When the alarm sounds at 4am and he makes his way to a mysterious bluebell wood, deep in the Dorset countryside, or scramble along the Jurassic Coast to shoot some dramatic seascapes, it’s a rewarding experience that is seriously hard to beat.
