Environmental Portraiture: Making the Most of Any Location

Join professional photographer Raj Khepar for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of environmental portraiture and how to turn almost any location into an opportunity.

Raj will share the kit he uses and talk through how he approaches a location, subject and shoot before demonstrating his process with Jade. You’ll explore how to work with the environment and available light, and how adding simple lighting can transform an image and give you more creative control.

You’ll have the opportunity to shoot throughout the workshop, putting the techniques into practice while seeing Raj’s approach from concept to final image. Whether you’re working with beautiful natural light or faced with a less-than-ideal location, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to make the most of any situation.

These sessions are designed to last for approximately 2 hours each, with plenty of time available to ask any questions you might have.

Places on this workshop are limited to just 10 delegates.

This is a Canon event where existing Canon users are welcome to bring their own kit although you are welcome to try out a variety of different EOS R Series cameras and lenses throughout the session. If you’re not a current Canon user but are considering the switch, this is a fantastic opportunity to try out a range of cameras and lenses for the day, along with expert advice from Raj to help you get a feel for what the Canon kit can provide. Simply leave all your kit at home, although don’t forget to bring a memory card for any images you may wish to keep!
