
What is NPS?
The Nikon Professional Services scheme is a unique and complimentary service for professional photographers that use Nikon equipment for their business. Members are entitled to an exclusive range of specific benefits and dedicated support.
What is the Criteria?
Application for the Nikon Professional Services scheme is open to anyone engaged as a full-time professional photographer (deriving their main source of income from photography) using Nikon equipment. You must live and be based professionally in the United Kingdom or ROI , and should own at least six pieces of professional Nikon equipment, two of which needs to be camera bodies. Professional Support
A dedicated free-phone telephone number is available for all members giving direct access to Nikon’s support team who can advise on software, firmware and other in-depth technical matters.
Pro-track Express Service
Nikon Pro-track is our express turnaround repair service, developed to assist NPS members when their equipment needs urgent attention. In delayed circumstances loan equipment will be made available to support members whilst their professional equipment is being repaired. Loan equipment is subject to availability and we cannot guarantee the loan of identical items - full details are supplied in the membership pack.
International Service & Support
The NPS membership allows you to use the priority repair and service facilities at the majority of Nikon overseas subsidiaries and service facilities.
NPS Support Depots
Membership can be used to identify professional status at NPS depots where Nikon offer press support at major events both nationally and worldwide. These facilities offer checks and minor repairs to members equipment without charge. In most cases a full loan facility will also be in operation offering technical assistance where required.
NPS alloction
This is a priority allocation scheme for new professional products, available to NPS members only.

All NPS members receive a free subscription to Nikon Pro magazine, our European magazine for professionals.
How to apply?
Application for the Nikon Professional Services scheme is open to anyone engaged as a full-time professional photographer, deriving their main source of income from photography, using Nikon equipment.
Requirements
The applicant must live and be based professionally in the United Kingdom or ROI.
Photographers should preferably own at least six pieces of professional Nikon equipment, two of which should be camera bodies - please see enclosed list of eligible equipment.
Each application is assessed individually and must be supported with relevant trading documents as proof of their profession.
- Staff or contractors - a letterhead, business card and a referee who can verify that you work for the company
- Freelance - a client data sheet, letterhead or trading invoice showing VAT registration number. A written reference from a reputable business source, i.e Picture Editor who uses your work
- Small business - either a brochure of your services, examples or cuttings and a trading invoice
Please fill out all the sections of the application form. Any application not supplied with the requested supporting documentation will not be considered for membership.
As each type of employment within photography is varied please do not hesitate to discuss your application with us first.
Nikon Professional User
Applicants not meeting the necessary requirements for NPS membership will be automatically added to our Nikon Professional User Scheme (NPU), under which they are granted many similar benefits for the professional. Further details are available on-line.
