Park Cameras School of Photography
Coinciding with the opening of our new purpose-built showroom, Park Cameras now offer regular courses, seminars and lectures catering for the needs of all photographers across a broad range of photographic disciplines. Our new facilities offer a dedicated training suite providing classroom learning, seminar presentations and hands-on studio opportunities all in one location, meeting the needs of every photographer.
Our approach to photographic courses is three-fold, benefiting from our resident Park Cameras trainer, representatives from major industry brands and also regular guest speakers from across the photographic industry willing to impart their knowledge on their chosen area of interest.
Dedicated One-2-One Training:
Park Cameras is pleased to announce that we have extended the range of topics covered through our extremely popular dedicated 1-2-1 training sessions. Moving forward not only will you have the chance to benefit from our indepth knowledge on all things photographic, helping you to master your digital camera of choice, you will also have the chance to utilise our vast experience across post-production software packages such as Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 and Adobe Lightroom 2.0 as well as studio, lighting and portrait photography training, utilising our own inhouse studio and lighting facilities.
Whether you are just starting out in the world of photography, want to master your current camera or simply want advice on how to perfect a certain genre of photography, then our 1-2-1 service is just the thing for you! Our increase in the number of photographic areas that we cover is based upon both feedback from our customers and also the fact that photography doesn't just start and end with the camera itself! As such we hope that we now offer something for all photographers of all levels and interests, all in the comfort of our dedicated Education Suite at our Showroom in Burgess Hill.
Benefit from our dedicated training environment and the 1-2-1 tutelage of our resident Training Manager, Anthony Sinfield, who brings with him a wealth of photographic knowledge across a broad range of subjects ensuring that you will gain the most out of your 1-2-1 training session. In addition, our extended training team of Gui de Basly and Nick Brooks has allowed us to extend the level and diversity of services that we are able to offer.
Initial response to our 1-2-1 service has been extremely positive as photographers of all abilities look to utilise our training team's knowledge and at only £50 per hour (£42.55 ex VAT), we feel that we have one of the most competitive training offers in the UK and are able to produce a bespoke training package tailored to your exact requirements. Should you wish to share your 1-2-1 session with a friend or family member, please note that for every additional attendee up to a total of four people each person will be charged at 50% of the standard hourly rate. Over four people and we would suggest that attending a day-long course would be more beneficial to your photographic needs.
1-2-1 sessions are generally available Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Upon request occassionally we can offer Saturday sessions if required.
For more information or to book a 1-2-1 session with a member of the team please email training@parkcameras.com where we will only be too happy to discuss your needs and book a convenient date with you.
Star Rating :

At Park Cameras we very much value the opinion of all of our customers. To ensure that we are successfully meeting customer needs, and to continually improve the delivery of our training and also to develop new training courses, we ask course attendees to complete a short course overview at the end of each course. Using the results from this, we have been able to give our courses a ranking out of 5 stars.
Corporate Training:
At Park Cameras it is not just the School of Photography, aimed at our diverse range of valued photo enthusiasts, that is proving popular. In addition, our ability to create bespoke training packages for the corporate world is gathering momentum, providing courses for the needs of dentists and the world of forensics, providing just two examples of the way in which we are able to apply our unrivalled photographic knowledge across different disciplines to meet the needs of our business partners.
