Panasonic UK have announced the newest addition to its line-up of compact Interchangeable Lens Digital Cameras with the Panasonic DMC-G2.
The DMC-G2 features a touch-screen operation with 3.0-inch free-angle LCD featuring Full-time Live View and high-speed Contrast AF System. While shooting, auto focus can be set at the desired part of the frame by simply touching the subject to activate the AF in both photo and movie recording. In manual operation, aperture and shutter speed can be set to the desired value by moving the slider. While playing back, you can quickly select an image to view by scrolling images. Today Canon have released a new firware upgrade for the Canon EOS 500D.
The following fixes and improvements have been incorporated:
This firmware corrects a phenomenon that may occur intermittently when Live View shooting is activated and the mirror does not position itself properly. As a result, the Live View image does not appear on the LCD monitor.
