Understanding Your Canon EOS 7D Mark II is the most comprehensive course of its kind anywhere in the UK - and aims to explain how to make the most of your camera, how to navigate the comprehensive menus and explore the features of the 7D Mark II, including Focus, ISO, HDR, and Video. 

Topics Covered

This course will cover the following topics:

  • Explaining the 7D Mark II's 65-point focusing system 
  • Focus case scenarios explained & how these can be used to ensure more accurate and responsive autofocus 
  • Explanation of the 7D Mark II's new 252 zone metering system and how this differs from the 63 zone system on the Mark I 
  • Navigation of the additional menus 
  • Dual card facility - how to set it up and use it practically  
  • Use of GPS for Geotagging and how this integrates with third-party applications  
  • Use of the intervalometer for time-lapse photography 
  • Customisation of the focus system - particularly for sport and wildlife photography 
  • Use of the additional video feature set, including autofocus and recording settings 
  • Recommended setup for maximum performance and ease-of-use 
  • Menu navigation and the use of My Menu (plus further explanation later in the day)
