Gitzo G2180 Series 1 Fluid Head

  • Series 1 fluid tripod head
  • Professional smooth movements with counterbalance system
  • extremely strong yet lighter than magnesium
  • Ideal for videographers and birdwatchers

The Gitzo G2180 Series 1 Fluid Head with Quick Release is an extremely compact and low profile tripod head that combines flawless aesthetics and ergonomics. It delivers all the key technical features required for the highest performance despite its small size and featherlight weight (570 grams).

It is made of a unique technical compound developed by Gitzo called soulid 238. This special techno polymer is lighter than magnesium, but just as strong, with good vibration dampening. Along with exceptionally smooth movement and high-quality engineered and assembled components, the G2180 features a sophisticated, precise and adjustable counterbalance system.

The G2180 is fine-tuned for use with medium-sized spotting scopes, but is also ideal for DSLRs and or compact div camcorders and secures a payload of 4 Kg. Its muted colors and reflection-free surfaces are ideal for birdwatching and outdoor photography. This model is equipped with Quick Release system (1/4 screw attachment).
