| Rangefinder design The Fuji X-E2S combines the classic rangefinder style with impressive design features. Its top and front covers are constructed from die cast magnesium, allowing it to weigh in at only 350g. Exposure compensation and shutter speed dials are milled from a metal block, so are comfortable to use and produce a solid click when turned. Sensor The 16.3 megapixel X-Trans CMOS II sensor removes the need for an optical low pass filter and uses the Fujifilm colour filter array, so you can capture high resolution images that rival those from cameras with larger sensors. Image processor The EXR processor II produces high resolution images at increased speeds and accelerates operational responses. Start up time is now around 0.5 seconds and the shooting interval has been reduced to 0.5 seconds, with shutter lag of 0.05 seconds. Full auto mode You can switch to full auto mode at the touch of a button and as the focus mode is set to auto in this mode, it's great for when you want to shoot freely without having to worry that you might miss something. You can also set your favourite scene within the camera menu. focusing Multiple focusing options are available on the X-E2S which makes it suitable for all types of photography. Its intelligent hybrid autofocus system combines the strong low light performance of contrast AF with the autofocus speed of phase detection AF - as little as 0.06 seconds. Advanced motion prediction technology allows you to predict subject movement so you can perform high speed continuous shooting while tracking with autofocus at up to 7fps. The X-E2S features both face and eye detection, so shallow depth of field portraits can be taken quickly and easily. An auto macro function is included which eliminates the need to press the macro button before shooting a close up. In addition, you can now assign a different function to the macro button. Revolutionary viewfinder The clear 2.36 million dot organic EL electronic viewfinder has a magnification of 0.62x and provides 100% coverage, thanks to the use of two glass lenses and a double-sided aspherical lens. It offers the ability to check how your images will appear in real time, and also the option of turning the picture effects off, so you can view natural tones just as your eye would see. The diopter correction dial lets you adjust the viewfinder strength to match your eyesight and can be changed from -4m-1 - +2m-1 Perhaps most impressively, it has the shortest display lag in the world at a tiny 0.005 seconds, so taking panning shots of moving subjects is a breeze. LCD screen The 1.04 million dot LCD screen clearly displays shooting information and images even in low-light conditions. It is constructed from scratch-resistant reinforced glass, so minimises reflections and provides brilliant visibility. |

Our Verdict
The Fuji X-E2S punches well above its weight and can create images as impressive as those produced on more expensive models of camera . It performs exceptionally well across all styles of photography and features advanced autofocusing and motion prediction functionality.

Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.

This product has been thoroughly tested by our team of photographers and we are happy to give a 6 month warranty as a result. The number of tests depends on the individual product but we are confident in this product having tested all the major functions. Anything that isn’t as you would expect, we then make a note of and show this in the condition notes on the page.
