Trail Cameras

For wildlife photographers, knowing where to expect your subject creature can mean the difference between getting the shot and missing the shot. If you’re trying to photograph a particular subject, one of the best ways to predict where they’ll be is by using a trail camera.

Trail cameras are small, battery powered, weather sealed cameras that you strap to a tree or a post. You can then leave the camera there for a week or so and the motion sensor in the camera will snap a picture every time an animal passes in front of it.

Trail cams are perfect for getting advanced information about the wildlife in your area, or simply to capture candid shots of unsuspecting wildlife when there are no humans around to disturb them.
